logo

Hey guys, here are first variations of logotype with different background. We've met with Taleah tonight to discuss the ideas of poster and business cards. Finally we also came up with ideas of labels and badges. The idea is to use elements of logotype to create an abstract image. Irina

discussion of projects

Yesterday (05.10.07) Taleah, Irina and Berni met to discuss personal and interactive projects.

Anna's ideas

4. This is just an idea, but I thought that calendars are actually MAPS of time and seasons, and my goal here is to try and break the usual sequence of days and months and I want to make an attempt to represent them in a more complicated way (like a map of a journey in time)

3. Hand-made badges, made out of beer bottle tops and other found objects. A pin will be attached to the back so you could actually wear them. I will also make a little map for each of them, showing the exact location of where the objects were found.

2. "Type in Urban Environment" book - not really connected to maps, but is about typography in the city.

Ok everyone, here's what I have so far. I came up with a list of things I'm going to exhibit, not everything is finished of course (or started!) but this is to give you an idea of what I'm doing.

1. Life Line Puzzle - a game with my illustrations representing one month of my life. When pieces are connected - becomes a "map".

meeting 22 sep

this image is one of the results of the meeting of irina and berni. we thought of adding another small interactive project for the visitors of the LABF'07. it is the idea that the visitors take part in a mapping process on one big map. mapping attributes can range from spatial information to perceptional information. berni
