I like the idea of taking a physical features of map! But it's interesting what kind of image will you use with it and will it have a connection with a subject of mapping or real space, like a pocket map??
at this stage of the project I can't say what kind of image you will see. but it will have not only the physical connection to mapping, there will also be a thematic connection. which one? I don't know yet.
